I posted a video on how I designed and made my rod holders for my float tube. Maybe it will help others design their own as well. I tried to make them as cheap and efficient as possible.

Good video and good attitude. The more information out there for people to find, the better it is for the sport and with the demise of CastMate Systems, there are few commercial choices.

Great job bud that is perfect. I have to say that the Cumberland is a great float tube. I also agree that with out Castmate Rod rack the DIY rod rack is a needed item. Thanks for sharing.

This is a great video on how to layout your rod racks. We have had pictures in the past but the video fills in the gaps.

This is so awesome! I had no idea you did a video on this. Coincidentally I just built my new rod rack for my tube and I filmed it as well. Gonna try to make a youtube video for it. Great job!

In fact, it was because of this forum sharing such awesome information that I was able to finally come up with the rod rack design that I like and use today.
