Hey all,

Just a heads-up in case anyone is looking for a new reel but the Penn Battle II is on sale over at Amazon - [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

I'm probably gonna get one and was leaning towards a 2500.

Anyone have/use one of these for their tube? I was considering the 3000 but weight is a factor of course. I was even considering getting an additional one in a higher size for stripers and or Dungeness crab snaring (obviously not off the tube though lol). Even a smaller model would be tempting for trout! Ughhh, decisions....!

Thanks for the heads up.

I have never been disapointed with my Penn reels. A little maintenance and they just keep dragging fish back.
