New High School fishing Club

So guys a new venture on my part, a colleague and I will be trying to start a fishing club at our school. We think we should have a pretty good success once we get the word out.
Do any of you have any experience in this area some advice or ideas you might have would be great to hear what you have to say?
The plan is to first get the word out and let the kids grow it on there own. I am sure in time we will be on the water teaching and enjoying time as a club. This might be a great excuse for more fishing time as well.

Funny thing, I was literally just sitting here looking at local fishing clubs with google and all I pulled up were college fishing clubs. Seems like all of the colleges in the area have something going on especially CSULB. Maybe attending a meeting and speaking to the leader may show a path?
