Trolling motor float tube mount

After three weeks of paddling round and round in the wind, I know I need a trolling motor and thus, a trolling motor MOUNT.

I've only seen ONE online, a useless video of some guy's mount but no specs or instructions. Looked like a good setup but I'm better at following instructions than downright innovation.

Anybody got the specs and parts list for one? Thanks.

As far as floattubes go we seem to be on our own to build them.

Depends on your budget. Some tubes today come with a trolling motor mount and you can just buy a motor and batter and off you go. Nothing to set up really. Or you can spend up to $1k for a top end unit that is compact, light, and powerful including battery =.

Check these out.   Company in the Netherlands.  ( doesn’t look like they ship to the US).  Motor assembly can be retrofitted to smooth bottom tubes or you can buy their tube which has hardware predicted for motor.  Purchase separately of course.

Float Plus is a cool Company I have been connected with since the beginning of there company. I know they are working on bring these to us here in the U.S. Its taking time and they want to do it right. I did offer to have them come down for the Fred Hall Show. We will see what happens. Mean while I have something in the mail from them we will see what it is.... Fingers crossed.

I just like the design of the tube. Looks like kind of a hybrid, like what we’re expecting of the FLTB-9. And the motor of course would be a big bonus. I can imaging going against the incoming tide or the winds in Huntington or the LAB. Hopefully they’ll get a US connection soon.
