Please if you can be sure to bring a new unwrapped toy to donate. Your Donation gets you in to the on the water raffle the day of and for each toy donated you get a spot in the grand prizes raffle (max is 10 spots) If you can not make an event or would prefer we do the shopping you can do a cash donation. No registration but we do meet up to donate our toys and do the raffle.
Lake Perris we will meet up about 6:30 (just to account for the gate openning)

Newport Harbor we meet up at 6am to donate toys.

OK everyone we are days away from the first of 2 events the first is Lake Perris. I wanted to share with you what they have posted on there site.

As we all know COVID 19 is still on the up swing and since we will be a group at Lake Perris.
I am encouraging you all to wear a mask. We need to be mindful of each other and safe. Also being a small group I am sure there might be some eyes on us.

So please be sure to wear your mask while we are in the parking lot doing our Toy Drive and Raffle.

Once you are launched and alone on the water fishing, please be safe and have fun at a safe distance.

I have not ben on the water at Perris for two months, but I can say the water temp will be 60 to 65 this time of year.

You're pretty much right on with the temp. I saw 62\64 last weekend but I didn't get out until 11am. I think we'll see upper 50's Saturday morning.

The lake is only down 2.2 feet from max and a whopping +15 feet from last years toy drive. Water was clear all year up until last weekend with algae finally starting to show.

And for those that do not know, 25 to 40 feet was the old shoreline just 3 years ago.
