Ok everyone the Perris Event is in the books.  We had a good size event with some amazing toy donations.
Fishing was slow nothing for me but I had a blast testing out the New Roughneck and seeing old friends and making some new ones.  Now on to the Newport event.

Just wanted to say thanks to my wife and post up her contribution to this years toy drive.  As some of you know my wife sews and she has made this Halloween quilt to raffle off to help raise money for our 10th Annual FTFF Toy Drive as well as to purchase more materials to make more quilts which she gives away to loved ones that are terminally ill.

Any updates on if we are going to consider this a "protest" in order to stay within the emergency order of "no gatherings"

I will need to check into this we still have some time and I am hoping that we will see some open mindedness.  If this falls apart I think we will set a different meet up for drop off's small in nature and hold the on the water raffle virtually.
Not really excited about it but we have to be safe.

OK guys so we all know that there are some new Stay at Home orders out there I will be watching for now. I think what we will do is all meet at the Pavilions parking lot that is at the corner of Jamboree and Bayside ( I will get an address ). We will do a quick toy drop off and on the water Raffle. This will keep us away from the CGS and OC Sheriffs sites at the start. After that we head out to fish from there. At that point we are just fishing not a group just an influx LOL.

Ok avoiding any political arguing.   i am sure most know this but I am posting it here.

NEWS:  Orange County, and the entire Southern California Region, will be under the State’s new Regional Stay-at-Home Order beginning Sunday, December 6 at 11:59 PM and lasting for a minimum of three weeks.  

Here is a Summary of Restrictions:

* No gatherings with those outside your household
* Closure of bars, wineries, breweries, distilleries
* Closure of nail, hair salons, barbers, other personal care services
* Closure of playgrounds
* Closure of indoor recreation facilities
* Closure of museums, zoos, aquariums
* Closure of family entertainment centers
* Closure of limited services
* Closure of theme parks
* No nonessential travel

Allowed to Stay Open:

* Non-urgent healthcare, including dentists, optometrists
* Schools already open
* Childcare
* Restaurants: takeout only, no more outdoor dining
* Stores, shopping centers: 20% capacity with entry metering
* Hotels and lodging: essential travel and lodging only
* Offices: remote except for critical operations where remote is not possible
* Churches, temples, mosques: outdoor only
* Critical infrastructure and services (water, power, government)
* Parks, trails, beaches, other outdoor recreation

Today’s regional ICU availability is 12.5%, down from 13.1% a day earlier.

This is not to say we are not doing this as you can see Parks, trails, beaches, and other outdoor recreations can stay up. But we need to stay safe and need to avoid large groups. So the hope is a quick toy exchange and prizes given out then off we go..

1000 Bayside Dr, Newport Beach, CA 92660  This will be the Pavillions Parking lot.  We will meet at 5:30 am and do the raffle by 6 am at the very latest.  I have collected a recent cash donation and will add this person to the Grand Prize Raffle as well as to the on the water raffle.  For this event you do not need to be present to win the on the water raffle.  Once the raffle is done we are off and fish as individuals.  Fish from any location you like as we hope to see you on the water.
