Hello folks. Just joined from northern Colorado. If it swims without needing a life jacket, I'll generally go after it. Okay with a fly rod but much prefer ultralight spinning gear. I'm fast approaching 73, been using a float tube since they were all shaped and maneuvered like a donut. After using my Fat Cat for 19 years, I just used some Christmas money, retired the Fat Cat and bought a new - you guessed it - Super Fat Cat. It just arrived and sadly sits, inflated, in my living room waiting for open water. I get into the high country for trout when I can, and hit small Front Range ponds for bass, crappie & bluegill as often as possible. I try to find open water to tube fish every month of every year; January has been dicey around here so I've settled for ice fishing until we see a warming trend.
