Rod Sprocket on its way

So I pulled the trigger to test out the Rod Sprocket for myself. Should arrive tonight and I think it will work well with the Roughneck. I will let you all know what I think once I have it on the water.

I used one for the first time yesterday. Worked like a charm. It would be good if there is a neoprene backing or something for more friction. I had to really snug it down very tight to not slide. That's not a problem a bit of a foam backing would be helpful I think for float tubes which can be a slick surface.

I forgot to take a picture. Need to do that in the future.

Good point on placing the foam or neoprene to help keep it in place. I might work on that with the one I just purchased. I may be putting mind on the back of my seat I will show all this later when I have it set up.

So the Rod Sprocket came in the mail with in 2 days. What a great and simple design. I agree with floattubeIQ a little grip on the back would help on the tube but because it is meant for more then just the float tube it make complete sense. I have not had it in the water yet but took some time to set it up at home. Here are 2 options for me and I think behind the seat will win out.
