Looking to get into float fishing, i only want to by one tube, the best!!!! It needs too work for lake fishing and pretty big and deep rivers. I would like it to be able too use a trolling motor and have lots of storage.

Thanks for your input

What's your budget and when do you need it by? And is the ability to hike deep into the woods an important factor? Or can you use something large?

Those are all good questions form FloatTubeIQ and yourself of course. I think the desire for a trolling motor is the kicker. If that is a major need then you are looking at a Hybrid float tube (Made of PVC or Hypalon) This in most cases will increase you cost over a traditional tube.
So I think the next question is how important is a Trolling motor to you and your needs. It might be worth the extra money or it might not that is your call. I am sure we can help you get dialed in and I will share a few of my tubes right now.

Hybrid tubes are the better route to choose as jeff mentioned.
But, I do suggest looking into pontoons. Many have adapters for trolling motors and the ability to sit a little higher can help with casting to pockets/eddies in moving water. Draw back is you sit higher...you act as a sail of sorts if there is a breeze. Also it takes up more room in transport/set up/take down.

Budget doesn't really matter (not bragging just want to do the best the first time and be done), i am a patient man. Hiking with it isnt a priority but i am a good hiker and in shape.......im open to any and all sizes as long as it is good quality and has all the bells and whistles.

Yes above are pictures are hybrids. In order

1. Roughneck from Buck's Bags (advertised in the forum)
2. Gigbob 2.0 from NRS (shown is the top platform it also has detachable pontoons.
3. Maxxon XPW 240 ( no longer produced Sadly)

The first 2 don't have trolling motor options but could with attachments accommodate a trolling motor very simply.
