lake parris turned out

Well i gotta say tubeinferbass did an exelent job with the gathering today! props to him and his dad that while we fished he prepared an awesome BBQ with chz-burgers, sausages and chilli and cold drinks.
About 9 tubers participated and we all cought fish. Alot of small bass though, and not too many bites; quite slow. but we had a greate time on the water and a fun after table gathering with new members of the forum and members of "FIN" (fishing .....something something lol)
I will let tubinferbass to post the winers, sizes, quantity and prices.

well said aquaholic...i had a great time and cant wait to do it again. the food was awesome
all my bites came from 10-12 inch schoolies bustin shad till noon. caught the bigget gill at a 10in redear (had another at 9 1/2 but whos keepin track right?? so that picked my spirits up a lil lol but i ended up catchin a total of 8 lm and 2 bg so id have to say it was an alright day even tho nothin had any size to em from my standpoint...but all fun anyway

Looks and sounds like a good time. The wife kidnapped me Saturday to go to Big Bear Oktoberfest and spent the night up there rather then driving down the mountain after a couple of "barley pops". What was the biggest LMB and BG?

That would be headcase he landed a LMB at 18 3/4 and I reeled in a 18 1/4 in this was so much fun tubinferbass and everyone who came and helped did a awesome job cant stop thinking bout dem bomb ass burgers and devil eggs oh ya cant fo get da beans ahh dem bean

hey guys just got to the forum. well yesterday was one heck of a day.fisher and tubinferbass you gus did an awsome job gathering us all together for a great time. Thank your pops for the bbq it was awsome nothing better then great food after a great day on the water. what a great site that was as all the tubes launched from bersconies. longest fish race was way to close

Well after the long drive and stuck in traffic I'm just getting around to posting. The day was incredible!! Nice cool breeze with a light fog in the morning and warm water so I was just in shorts. By 7:00am it was warm enough to fish with a T-shirt and shorts. I had my rigging all wrong, until Kirk helped me out again, but no bass. I did land a good sized BG, but that's about it. My first time on a tube in freshwater so of course I still have a lot to learn.

My hats off to Chef as the food was great and was ready just as we got off the water.. I think I need to plan something like this up for Newport Harbor and just setup some chairs and an eazy up with a grill on the beach...

I'll post up some pics later today.

now i am really kicking my self for dont going but i will be healthy soon so i can make the long drives wow

What perfect way to spend a Sunday. It was a great time with new friends. The food was awesome and a huge Thank you for making it happen at Perris. I hope to see you guys at the next one fresh or salt.
