I spent the last two consecutive Saturdays at El Capitan Reservoir in San Diego. The fishing was pretty good, but the days were short because the wind kicked up at about 11 each day to the point that it made it difficult to stay out.
There were a lot of bass chasing shad on the surface, and the guys that were fishing flukes were doing pretty well. I fished both drop shot finesse worms, and texas-rigged Senkos. I ended up with 8 nice bass between the 2 days combined. All between 3-5 lbs. Unfurtunately my camera was misbehaving so this is the only somewhat decent fish porn I can offer. All-in-all pretty good days.
