I knew today was not going to be the best day to go out but I have to admit at one point I thought I had bit off more than I can chew. Weather said rain was in the forecast but I didn't expect the wind to be an issue. My Son, @jc153, and I set off around 8am with clouds and a little wind. About an hour in we were being pushed and had to go into a cove with a hill to stay out of it. We probably stayed in that cove for about 2 hours and fished the hell out of it since we had no where else to go. JC and I each landed one and the kick back to the launch gave me multiple cramps. I thought about kicking to the banks but they were way too steep. Took us over an hour to travel less than a mile. I don't know if it is always this windy there but if it is I will not be returning on a floattubes. Water levels were super hight. I could see tree tops sticking up about a foot above water.
Ps. My son wanted a picture with my fish..
