Got to the gate @4:20am and it was open with people inside already setting up. Met a fellow tuber and youtuber Chris Brandt The Beef Shawman while we were setting up. Got on the water almost as soon as it was visible. I got no love on the popper and my son had a miss on his. The day started of like most lately with a little wind and a lot of clouds and fog. I didn't get a bite until around 8am and it was a tiny one. My son hooked up on his PB a 2.8lb. which he was really excited about.. you could have probably heard him yelling from across the lake. Wind picked up and headed back to the launch at 11am. Wind died down so we decided to fish over near the dam. We found bass blowing up on schools of shad and picked off a hand full. I ended the day with 7, not a good day by Barrett standards but on an awesome day by my standards and great company.
