LA Harbor 3/10/24 ghost town

After more than a month of red zone beach closure due to 8 billion gallon sewage spill, finally down graded to yellow zone advisory.  Still high levels of bacteria after last storm but Had to get out for Daylight savings twilight session.
Brutal conditions, offshore wind and big outgoing made it a struggle not to get blown out to the channel

Negative low made eelgrass beds unfishable
Hit some deep water spots for 2 bites

Rinsed everything down as took a shower after

Sewage spills are always a good reason to close the beach.
It’s a shame that it has to affect some really sweet honey holes!
Your determination and perseverance will get you back in there.
Always good to rinse off your gear year-round and not just because of spills.
