pudd session 12/26

went to pudd this morning and fished around with Trail and Error.

it was a tough morning for me, snagging on everything under the water. Spent most of the day retying. I need to rethink the way I fish this place.

Cool lookin fish....sorry you had to retie so much. Texas rigged anything with a light buller weight "pegged" does the job for me...or spinner baits!

Never fished the lake, but it's still on my list. Seems like a lot of lakes here in cali have tons of debris on the bottom so the few i've fished did require a lot of retying.

On a side note I sent you a few PM's about those joysticks. Let me know if you still want to do it or not.

Nice fish. I fish the Pudd often and I caught my largest Bass their a 12 pounder last November. it can be a tough lake but there are some good fish in that lake.

I agree with the Captain Ive fished Pudd for 36 years and I have caught my fair share of big bass there... When I was 12 years old a Pudd regular told me this quote regarding Pudd.. "There out there,you just have to work for them and pay your dues by spending time on this lake",,,, This time of year I rip them on drop shots on isolated cover in 18' to 25' of water

I have always liked the Pudd it is a tough place to fish but I to have seen some nice fish in that lake. If you take the time and give the effort it will pay off.
