I enjoy the fishing as much as the taching, ...Locating the fish, changing presentation, crousing here and there, swap poles and line etc... All we do to out smart nature!! if there was only catching prob. wouldn`t be as exiting and rewarding when that drag sound comes... so i think

Tough one to answer because I have had days where we fished the whole day and got a skunk but just because of the people that were there it was still alot of fun and I don't think catching fish could have made it any better.

I cannot truly say on this one since my last 3 times out were skunks. I wish I had more to say on this, but for now I have no oppinion

I'm confused myself. Fishing is the active or passive process of search, deploy, and catch. Catching is part of fishing process. So..it's a trick question.

But, fishing is indeed fun, whether you're actively or passively (watching people) catching the fish.

Uh maybe you don't need to contemplate the question too far. I think the context of the question is as simple as does the thrill of the quest equate to the thrill of the catch? Or does one surpass the other?
