DVL stock fishin report!!!! 1/19/2012

Well fisher and I showed up in line bout 545ish n there was hardly anybody there We walked to our ol fishin spot till the truck came n managed to pull my first bass on a 4" ika.

She wasnt big but she fought like she was... jus a lil over 1.5 lbs n good way to break the mornin. Befor that fisher managed to land a 4 lb bass that was taged but I eneded up loosein the tag numbers...lol... We moved down n fisher managed to land a lil bass on a lizard. By then the stock truck drove up n we made our way down to our secret spot fer stock. Ill have to say this day was crazy with all the action n the water.The trout were v wakein right off the truck n the bass n striper were eatin em up. Fisher landed a monster n ill let him post the pic but she is a bute. I managed to land this 5.2 lb bass on the 10" swimbait.

The crap thin is that I could of had a lot more fish but kept screwin up the hook set. My bait got blowin up on at least 15 times n hooked into one that looked well over dd weight but she shook her head n threw the bait. The action was non stop!!!! the crazyist I have ever seen it. Trout were runnin like crazy jumpin all over the water. It was a serious fish feedin frenzy. All in all it was an awesome day fishin n learnin new tech. I got my first ika bass n fisher got his first swimbait bass. Cant wait till next stock with the new baits gunna get that dd bass for sure! When u guys gunna join in on the action?

He caught her on a same 10" castaic trout but dark rainbow

Damn sound like I missed a good day I will be out there sat or sun trying for some more striper the tacos where bomb!!!

wtg guys. reports like this is what makes me want to take a drive out there and try and do little LMB fishing. how are the weekends there ?
I would love to hit that lake during the week but thats never going to happen due to work

Weekends r good fishin aswell... I like goin fer trout on the weekends cuz they seem to b more active.

So thurs & friday is more bass fishing and weekends are for trout?

I jus like bass fishin durin the week lees people pressure'n the bass. All weekend on the shore line theres people lookin fer those bass n hittin em hard. N most the time the trout r stocked n the middle of the week prime bass fishin. Then when the weekends come around everthin that didnt get eatin is calm downed n schooled up to were there comfy to eat.

Cool thank you tubinferbass for some insight on the lake. If I ever get day off mid week to make it out there ill hit you guys up.

o ya awesome day first swimbait fish and first tagged fish but tubin had to loose the # haha next time ill have pen and paper u guys need to make it out there get u a good swimbait rod and reel and some lures and your set

wish I could of made it out there with you guyz i had no gas and im waiting on a check in the mail then I'll be back in business and on the water as long as my back doesn't get any worse but i'm happy for you guyz at the same time I'm jealous lol
