Ok so fisher an I got to the gate at 530 to wait in line and surprisingly there wasnt alot of people there. We were able to hit the water by 645 an it was a perfect glassy mornin, light cloud cover n no breeze. We hit a couple coves n brish piles n nothin. The hight temps has made the water really murky brown. On a good day you can up to 15' out or more into the water but not to day. Was lucky to see 4' out so spottin the bass n trout was allmost impossible. But managed to russle in a 2lb trout right before the truck rolled in. That big stock truck started dumping n started ringin the lunch bell. About 15 min after the truck left the schools of trout started swimmin. All about 2+ lbs swimmin fer there lives bout 3-5' off shore. Luckly I stumbled onto so readin material last night bout the "Dead Stick" technique for the stock. So I gave it a try with a couple casts with the 10" castaic floater n takein bout 5 min to reel in each cast. For awhile nothin no sweels or followers then it happend.....
