I picked up a new reel today. A Penn Battle 6000 series. I bought the 4000 series last year and I was very impressed with the carbonex drag system and the quality of the reel. I hooked into a 40+ inch halibut in the mouth of San Diego harbor. The drag was the smoothest drag I have ever seen. The reel performed flawlessly. Well, my buddy Miguel and I got one heck of a shower when it came up to the surface. He went for the gaff and it shook its head and spit the hook. It was a heart breaker but at least I got to see how the reel performed.

Definitely Awsome reels. That's one of the main stay reels back in Hawaii.
