The next gathering...

Okay so im pissed that I just missed the ninja session....but im already looking forward to the next event. I know it won't be for a little while and some planning needs to go into it but anybody have any ideas? Locations?


Eventuallyid like to see one in the dirty south. A 10-20 fish night really isn't uncommon down here. If it were down south (MB or SD bay) we could have a side pot for biggest fish but the main event could be most fish landed. Just some ideas to get things rolling. Unless ya'll wanna do a freshwater event...that would be cool too.


Also, i would be completely down for a float tube bat ray gathering haha. Dont know how youd land it without going to shore but if anybody wants to go for a 200 yard ride let me know....i might drift some mac heads next week in MB. I have a spot you can fight the fish for a bit then land him on a sandy area.

How about a Dana point get together?

Dana Point sounds good to me. Konas been killing it there but i have a few secret spots hehe

Hey Mass if you need help in hosting an event here in SD let me know I really want to get something started either the big bay or MB.

yeah.. Lok was chatting up Dana pt with me last night. Sounded gooooood. Count me in.

Im down to fish both spots....people will appreciate it. If it wasnt for the LAB or Perris gathering i would never have fished either of those spots.


I launch at the rocks too but that could be tough for some of the old farts here

But that area near the barge can be awesome....thats something we'll have to think over. Launching there at low tide is A LOT easier than high tide.


And scion I'll let you know....im thinking SD bay might be better cause we will catch more fish and more species....hopefully.what do you think?

Yea some people can launch at the ramp or baby beach lol

I don't know how much the parking fees at the ramp, but people can find a spot all around DP

I would have to agree sdbay produces some great fish I never get skunked there.

DANA POINT....REALLY ! nice ! Alright lets do this I have two spots to launch from baby beach and the boat ramp lets talk more and see what we can do FYI parking is free at baby beach but there's 4hr rule by the boat ramp. So what I do is when i'm by myslf is fish the bait barge and make my rounds if I get nada then I load up and drive too baby beach out of the water for 15min max from spot to spot

I like both Dana Point and San Diego but if we have a big turn out like this last gathering I think Dana Point is a more accomidating location as far as distance, parking spaces and launch sites are concerned. But so far I'm in for either!

Or we can drop our gear at the ramp, drive our cars back to baby beach and then have someone drive us back lol

Man I wanted to go but we had to check in between 2:30-4am and then fished hard for 12 hours, We both had the tubes in the truck bed but we were to tired.
