well im looking into getting into tubing the salt and every one i ask said some swimbaits are something i definitely should have.

so while at wal-mart i seen these "fish Trap" swimbaits and they looked a lot like "big hammer" swimbaits so i picked up a few packs.

did i just waist $16 or are they any good.

I think they should work ok I like BH's but the Fish Traps seem like you said to be a good alternative bait.

U can pick up individual 3” big hammers for .60 from Richards tackle in San Gabriel off the 10 fwy and walnut grove.they can also give u plenty of good advice on anything else u will need.

Make sure to pick up some lead heads too when getting big hammers.

fish traps, big hammers, MC and pearl are all the same thing with few different things about them but they all swim the same. your good as long they are 3".
4" will work, 5" kinda but not worth it.

Fish traps work great! Walmart is a great place to buy baits.

Have confidence in your baits. They are a good start. Scent them up as you use them. You can drop them in some boiling water for a few seconds to loosen them up if they need it.

You'll do fine just stay at it! Very Happy

thats the best thing to do, ive been told things don't work but when i try it, it ends up working.
