SUB 714 TOON/TUBE CROSSOVER HYBRID ???

Just saw pic of a floating contraption on craigslist that is a cross between a u-tube and a toon and am wondering if you have ever seen one or know of anyone who has had one ? For the most part it looks like a u-tube with EXTRA long air bladders, oarlocks built into the bladders and a foot bar that rests in pockets moulded into the bladders as well. Looks like it is made from heavy matierial like a good white water raft would be. The longer forward protruding floats look like they would reduce the "forward flip" syndrome I have been hearing of having to be careful of. The seat looks a bit short though and leaves an ominous large hole to maybe slip into and go meet Davey Jones in person. Holler out with opinions on this one. Price is right if is a good machine.

It didnt. I got the pic file # to boot up when I hit browse and tried to get it to post by hitting send as well as re-edited and hit the submit query box but was a no go, Sorry ,,,

Is on Craigslist, Bend Oregon, Sporting goods listed as an inflateable fishing seat. Hope I am not crossing any forum rules here, ment just for info purposes not to direct biz away from sponsors who sell tubes an such here.

From what I found its from Creek Company. I've never seen or heard about it before. Creek Company has a newer version out right now called the Voyager.

I actually looked at these when I was tube shopping,but the price was over triple what I wanted to spend. If I could have bought one for $75.00 I would be a hybrid owner right now.
I like the option of rowing and finning. I could take on bigger bodies of water with that I am sure!

looks like there would be plenty of room for attachments, and the foot rest is a good addition.

I thought about picking it up but thought it would be a bit hard to accessorize because of the oars. The "d" rings you would hang your rod holder racks on are pushed way in the rear and quite narrow. Guess you could lash some things on. What really made me nervous is it has a single air chamber. Me an old Poseidon have had several run ins over the years and so far I have won out. This might just give him the edge he has been looking for .

Found another one called a Stadden that looks pretty awesome as well, allows mounting of trolling motors to include electric or gas along with oars and kick fins. Looks like would be the ticket for those ( like me ) that live where the wind blows pretty much 6 days a week.

thats a nice looking tube/toon

Not a bad looking toob but a bit pricey, 400lb capacity but three times the price of a cumberland for 50lb more weight load.
You could build a platform on it and have a party!
