My little brother and I headed out last night and made the long kick to our favorite wall location. The heavy tide last night made it tough going with lots of rest breaks.
Once we where out there it made it tough to stay on position, constant kicking.
But my brother managed to hook pretty quickly. I thought he was snagged at first, then I saw how hard he was kicking away from the "snag."
This big Sand bass and the current did take him fore a little ride though!

This was the biggest Sand Bass he has ever caught.
It was pretty slow after that, a few smaller bass and soe rockfish. I was starting to get frustrated with all the effort for the lack of fish. Then I missed a huge bite and was ready to head home.
Thankfully, we stayed out and I managed to land my new personal best Calico

That was the only bass for me, but I wasn't upset! I manged to scratch up a Sculpin (which nailed me, three spines hit my ring finger) and we called it a night.
