Had to take care of some business this afternoon in La Mirada. Knowing that I would been leaving La Mirada during rush hour, I decided to wait out the traffic by hitting up one of the nearby city park lakes.
Seeing that Cerritos Lake was the closest I headed there. Arriving at the lake I noticed that there wasn't one person fishing the lake and I thought to myself, "is there fish in this lake?"

After rigging the ds, I start working the shoreline for any signs of life. Found a few spots with weeds and worked them.
Took me about two bait changes before i hook into the first bass which was a dink. worked my way around the lake to the waterfall, catching dinks along the way. Worked the waterfall area which produced the largest fish of the session. Was gonna check out the upper lake, but it started to rain so I called it a day.
Here's the only one that was picture worthy.
