This spring Im ready to fish Crappie at night in my float tube. I have a pvc rod holder set up with a back long tube to put in a good light, simular to our moderaters light on his. But Im at a loss of what light to put in the tube? want it to be like a flood for good light. please help with any suggestions. Thanks

I found that normal white light henders your sight at night when fishing from a tube. A nice good head lamp with a red light setting is all you need. Keep the red light on and your set and when you need little more light for retiring etc just switch settings.

I have a ? About crappie fishing or just plain pan fishing is it basically a trout set up? Rod and reel
