Got out to a greatly diminished Lake Sutherland on 3/14/13. Water is down probably 30 feet from what it was last year.
It was good to get back out on the tube again. Water was cold and I was wondering about my decision to leave my thermals at home. Got used to it and I was fine.
Fishing was not wide open but I managed 6 bass, including two over 4 lbs. One of those was 4.96 lbs. Wish she had eaten breakfast.
Three fish ate a lipless crank in Red Crawdad color. One ate a neko-rigged Senko and two hit on the jig.
