Reel lube - wow

What a difference when I put it on my line! My casting just improved probably 20% yo...its da shizzle fo sho! (embarrassed it took me so long to try it)

I am not sure I understand, lube for your line or for the reel. I have never seen this product that goes on your line

I have heard various bass masters and those in the know talk about spraying a silicone lube on the line (fluro mostly i think) I have also seen some product here and there. So yesterday I just said what the heck and shot some on one of my reels. Crazy or not it made a difference and Jeff dude, I am a serious skeptic when it comes to this kind of stuff. The results do not lie. I know we're gonna here it from all sides on this one but I'm just putting it out there. I figured I got nothing to lose by trying. This is how you learn - by doing.

I use the KVD line and reel conditioner. Its "reely" good. Helps keep the flouro supple and comes off the spool smooth with less line memory. Definitely a must have.

I have always used this type of lube! I think I said it in a thread somewhere on here. I just showed Dano the stuff I use at BPS and he picked up a spray bottle. I use a spray called Real Magic. I spray it on my line before putting away for storage and I spray it all over the reel and on my guides before every salt trip. It keeps the line really pliable and less line memory. I love this stuff! Increases your casting distance and knot strength.

This product was brought to my attention on my daily BPS shopping spree with a board member. I have yet to try it, but you can bet I will be spraying it on my reels tonight.

we like "reel magic". ithelps with line memory, knot tying is easier and it is great for the reel to.
we get a lot of dust here in "always blowing" lake isabella.
