We hit the water just before 7am.
Low tide 5:19 am .33 ft
high tide 11:14 am 4.82 ft
The plan was to target the PCH bridge, an ambitious goal for my brother and I who have only used out tubes a few times. The water seemed warmer and clearer that earlier in the week. Halibut were first on the chew Chris picking up first.

Then I pulled up a pancake, that performed a self release. I was able to get one to stick.

The incoming tide created near rip-current conditions, we hugged the island and shore as long as we could and ended up just drifting back. No takers out in the marsh. We made our way to the fuel dock and worked the west side of the harbor. I picked up thise surprise on my home made Umbrella rig
Then I decide to change colors as the sun began to peer through the clouds. I tied on BH #64 senorita. That was the ticket. First White sea bass!!!!!!!!!!!

This turned out to be a productive pattern, paralleling the dock ends with out boats. Because next I got this PB Spotty!!! 19in had to be over 2lbs, and what a fight i thought it was another Hali.
