Simple Fun Gathering October 5th who's up

how about a little $5 wager going? Big fish takes all! Nothing wrong with a little competition, optional of course.

Side bets are fine at the waters edge not here on the board for this one, set it up among the guys there if you like. We are keeping this simple and fun.

Sounds cool and yes let the trash talking begin, I hope I at least catch a lizard fish. with my luck this year I would love a lizard fish.

BTW, being that I have never fished there, nor do I know exactly where we are suppose to meet/park. Can anyone provide a map or directions, I'm coming from San Pedro, so I assume I need to take the 405 to somewhere..? 

Also, I might be bringing some swimbaits, lures and rods and reels for sale. Might even sell my tube and stuff. If your interested, shoot me a PM so we don't highjack this thread. Thanks.

I am in the same situation, except not coming from same location, Where would we be meeting/parking, does it cost to park? What kind of gear should be brung?

Its free parking and i believe you take the 405 and get off on bolsa chica road or something like that

Meeting place is at Sea Bridge Park on Portofino cir in HB. It's off of Edinger ave. Main cross streets are Bolsa Chica and Edinger.

Easiest way to get there is

405 exit Bolsa Chica
West down Bolsa Chica (heading to the ocean)
Right turn on Edinger(north)
All the way down Edinger(pass the residential area)
Left on Countess dr.
Drive till it ends. Park is on the right.
