It is time to wake things up

Running this board has been one of the funnest things I have ever done.  But it take work and a lot of effort so I need to get help when ever possible.  Well it is time to wake things up around here, so I turn to the board for some help.  What do all members active and not so active what to see happen around here.
We are doing a gathering (Oct.5th) and we will work on more like this for the year.  We will be looking to do our 3rd annual Dec. Toy Drive always a good cause.  So guys what do you want to see, all ideas will be entertained and if we can make it work we will try our best.  I am still interested in some services we can offer up to the public as well as caring for our environment and water ways.  
Of course we should do some events but I still am of the position that is should be keep simple and just fun for all.  Maybe we can come up with some only line posting events as well.  I am looking for the boards help to formulate ideas and maybe step up to run something in there area's.

P.S. I found my license  so lets start fishing.

We should have a float tube fishing forum record board where you have to post a picture of the fish on a scale. There could be different categories for saltwater bass and freshwater bass and other fish. Then the fish are posted in order by weight and it shows who caught it and the fish. I just wanted to be the first one to throw something out there.

Just "MY" observation I am sure. It is a great forum and offers a bunch....to locals.
As outsider, I feel pretty much out of the loop on many of the posts.
Maybe that is the idea, I don't know.
I see it as a tubing forum and stopped by, but it is Tubing in California, which I don't do.
Keep up the good work however. I still stop by for a peek every now and then.

Ya it is largely California but I for one am really interested in what is going on in your neck of the woods. Maybe I could come up with some contest that are for out of California members and only for them. Those out of Cali please pass the word along about us we would love to have members from all over join up let grow this board huge.

I like this idea! then by the end of the year we would have bragin rights to the biggest fish (combine species) and biggest spotty, biggest sandy, calico...etc probably 2nds and 3rds?

A three way tournament? The only thing that would be hard to do would be to make sure the teams are even. 15 tubers vs 3 tooners vs 5 yaks.

I think the yakers have the advantage to cover more water than a tuber...

Each division would have a handicap which would consist of number of anglers? How to determine those handicaps is another problem..lol.. For me, I would be a handicap for the toon guys..hehe
