Arrived at Big Bear Lake on Friday 5-12-17 and will departed on Friday 5-19-17,
Morning temps varied from 28 deg to 30 deg.
Winds varied 0 - 20 mpg, 80% of the time the wind blew from the west to the east.
The water clarity was maybe 3-4 feet and a murky green.
Worms on the drop shot seemed to get the most of the attention.

I hired a bass fishing guide w/ boat "Big Bear Charter"- Arron, we fished BBL for approx 6-hrs for one grab that got away.

On Sunday I float tube fished Boulder Bay for approx 5-hrs in the evening for nada.

On Monday 5-15-2017, I went back out with my bass fishing guide Arron, we fished BBL for 4-hrs on his bass boat for (2) LMB and (2) SMB.

I landed my 1st LMB and it weighed 4-lbs 13-oz!
I'm so stoked!! And (2) SMB ta-boot! YAHOO!

So now I'm float tube fishing with new knowledge and I landed two SMB on Tuesday 5-16,2017.
My best SMB measured 17 1/4" and 3-lbs.

Dang Dan,
First bucket mouth goes just under 5 pounds!!
You are going to hunt for a while to land a few more like that.
How do you compare the spotted Bay Bass fight to the freshwater brothers?
