This one is for waxon67, the first time we fished together he riged his swimbait sidways. I had never seen this before, will here it is. It helps to make the bait look like an injured bait fish check it out.

Lol I tried this when we did last gathering. I got the back half of the 3" big hammer bit off. Didnt stick but I got the hit gunna try this with junebug color sb at perris. I got a lateral perch sb thats pre riged on its side works like a jig pretty cool.

Its pretty cool technique. Especially on a low current light weight fall. The total wounded fishy!

I have seen this done befor but I have never tried it, do you rig them on lead head or a worm hook?

You could rig it with a EWG worm hook, weightless, or add a bullet weight to your liking and conditions. Or you could use a round head lead head, but I'd prefer an EWG hook..
