Tubing 11-16-13

Got some free time to fish this past saturday and sent a text to Lolly and Fatboy, and within 30.675 seconds they both replied "I'm in"! Met at the spot and we were in the water by 6:20am.  Super high tide and managed some fish for all of us.  I think everyone lost track of how many they caught, but today was a case of quantity and not quality, still fun, not complaining and was rewarded with a nice lil lobster!  Here are some pictures of the usual suspects.

Anyone want to guess the weight on the bug? for those of you that saw my post on FB, don't spill the beans!

Nice bug Wiseguy! I wouldn't eat anything that comes out of that place in my opinion. All the fish and bugs there I don't think are migratory fish/bugs. The water quality in there as you know is BLAH with all those big tankers etc and the crap in the water. Anyways, nice bug for sure!

Thanks for the invite Jimmy and that bug scared the crap out of me!! Like you said, the fish quality just wasn't there but the quantity was out of control. It almost seemed like those Johnny Bass had a tracking device on me because they went everywhere that I went. I forgot to take a picture of them because they were just too small and so many. It got to the point where I even crimped down the barb of my hook to make it easier to release them.

Killer time on Saturday. The tide was super high the bite was on. That bug is a BEAST!!! Good work. Lolly couldn't catch a break from all those bass. Seams like every drop was a link up. I think he was getting tired of dealing with them. They were hittin him like lizards. Lol

That's what they said about large mouth bass  

My wife and I will search for them. Anything between 15" and 17", we'll keep 1 for each outing (which is a rare thing for us). Other than that, we search and capture trout and panfishes, beside tilapia.

I took a few keepers once. I fried them. Not bad eatings. All catch and release now.
