Lots of cool stuff for sure, I spent most of my time at the rod building booths but did manage to make a few runs and pick up some sweet baits.  Check out Jimmy's Fishing Long Beach in booth 703 & 704, trust me you wanna visit his booth!

The only float tubes I saw were at the Turner's booth, not much of a discount though.

Also, I did see the CastMate Rod Racks booth.

Anything new this year? Seems like every year it's the same ol thing. Just more Alaskan lodges and more egyptian sheets for sale. I seem to go through it all in an hour and that's including saying "what's up" to old fishing buddies.

@ yellowrock: The past few years it's been the same thing. Not too many deals like there use to be. Now it's just a place to check out new stuff and BS with friends.

Went to the show yesterday,  only place I saw that had float tubes was Turners. But they weren't great deals.

Got me some shirts, hats, & some plastics for the salt...the tube the nachone said was on sale is...they had 2 of them left.....great price.....

There was another place in the back near the Fly fishing stuff that had SFC and Fat cats, I think the Supers were going for... $349. Don't quote me 100% since I only heard that in passing as I was walking by. I was more in it for new plastics and a new reel for my GL2 Trout rod. Both of which I got for good deals. They're there if you look around for it enough. Don't just walk by booths, talk a bit, and you'll find them, especially today.

There were only two Fat Cats left but it wasn't on sale for $219.99. It was for $299.98. I did see a fat Cat on display at the fly shop booth but didn't get the price.
