Lab sesh new PB

Hit up lab from 10am to 2pm with a friend seen a few other people fishing out there. Weather was really nice total fish count 3 Hali's and 3 big lizards

I caught my new PB halibut 25in   it is really hard to gaff a fish and fight the fish the sametime  first gaff shot I missed. Then handed to my friend my friend gaff it but tear right through the fish then after a few runs finally gaffed it I was using 3in swimbait 200d calcutta 30lb braid top with 12 and a ml teramar

Congrats. Looks like you had a good time on the water and damn those are some clear pictures. Nice camera. I have never hooked a legal butt from the tube. I would just hold it on my lap and kick in to the shore where my car is and drop it off. I would hate to string it in the water and invite the unwanted "sea dogs"
