So I launched around 10 pm from Ocean on a solo night run water was warm and calm I think it was a slack tide so it was pretty slow going. Hooked up on some small sandies and one 8" spottie. I've been trying different spots and found that closer to the mouth of the bay where there's current the bigger spotties seem to congregate

Not entirely true. Wink Nice job on the night time spottie. They're a little harder for me to catch since they don't usually bite twice!

I found a Nice 12" spottie yesterday right in front of the queen Mary breakwall. Will put up report up tonight. A yellowtail and 16+" calico will be in the report .

Lol @wiseguy .... So far this year my chunkers have been coming off the jig. I'm glad I took the time this year to learn how to use the jig it's been paying off for me in fresh and salt
