For anyone who is interested this is a 3 day derby with cash prizes up to 100k. I have yet to fish in it but I heard it gets packed.

I’m a rookie on the tube so I hope there are others out here.
I went 2 years ago the wind was not that bad.

Indeed, if you have space to move then I might be willing to go to that. Would be fun, saw some videos of it on youtube, how ever one video i saw all they caught were crappie no trout were to be found lol.

I've fished up there several times with some buddies that live up in Bakersfield. Defiantly a lake and river you need to put some time in to know the spots.

The power plant and the cemetery are pretty good spots.
