23rd Annual Isabella Lake Fishing Derby March 31, April 1, 2, 2012

Anyone interested in this tourney?

$20 buy in and tons of tagged fish with additional money for biggest fish.

Gonna be a little cold, but the lake is amazing whether your fishing or not.

Thinking about going and possible leaving Thursday night late camping fri-sat-sun and heading back sun afternoon.

Looks fun but I have another tourney im doing march 31.

Is this an anual trip for you?
I've heard that it gets really crowded during this derby
Maybe not so much if you can get out on the tube
Does the boat traffic get pretty heavy or does everybody spread out?

I have a trip there in early June.
Planning on tubing
Wouldn't mind going there twice this year!

I've been to the lake a few times, but only started freshwater fishing last year so never really fished it much. I would just throw some powerbait on an old pole when we went and only caught a couple. I plan on tubing for sure as I've read the shore is packed. For me I just like to get out and enjoy the lake and the possibility of getting one of those 1,000 tagged fish they stock would be a nice treat.

Sure hope it is not windy when you go...it blows like a motherf#$@er on that lake!

Yep, that lake can and does get very windy!
I think that the temperature in the desert has a lot to do with how windy it gets there.

looks fun but to far for me and dont gots the money
