Is anyone throwing the Alabama Rig from their tube? I'm wondering how it could be stored on the tube and what kind of success rate it has.

Jerdon , the Bama Rig is a great Rig to Throw , just need to make sure you have all the Proper Gear to throw it and work it effectively .  The Swimbait bite will be on again very soon as well, especially once the trout start stocking .

Few pics From Lake Perris over the last month , not my pictures , This is James and his friend one of the founders of BABA or soon to be known as Sikfish !! There Bama Rigs Slay the Southern California Lake Bass

Heavy action rod with min of 20lb test to throw it. They do make a wrap you can use around the rig when not in use.

Just a heads up gentlemen. Freshwater umbrella rigs can only have a maximum of 3 hooks. In the salt (bays and ocean) you can have 5. I'd hate to see anyone get cited for that.

Yup gotta be careful in freshwater , they will check your rigs !!!  I am buying a few pieces at a time because the proper stuff you need to work these rigs properly is expensive . Don't want to be one of those guys with $2000 worth of useless swimbaits lol!  (been hearing great things about the BTX A Rig and the Swaver at Perris and Skinner lately )

That's good info about the number of hooks. I would have never thought about it
