tube got delivered friday from cover bonanza. saturday i pumped her up. looked pretty solid.
later saturday, my brother (stinky bubbles) came by with his (or ed5000x) cumberland.
side by side the two are identical. same bladders, valves, crossbar, apron, seat.
besides the pockets opening forward, instead of backwards like the cumberland, and the cupholder infront, rather than the back, the two tubes are the same. and of cousre, the camo cover vs the green. also, the marshland has a few extra straps on the inboard side of both pockets, they say for a shotgun tether, and 4 d rings under seat to backpack the tube.
tubed the LAB this morning for the marshlands first trip out...
tube is awesome, like the cumberland. very stable, sat me high out of the water (I'm 6' 255lbs), felt good in the wind and strong outgoing tide/current, even felt solid when boats would pass by and wake us out. we were out for almsot 3 hours, seat seemed a little stiff, butt got a little sore, hopefully the seat will break in over time.
the decoy bag, i only imagine it "floats" if there are floating decoys inside of it. ill be using the bag to put all my gear in (waders/fins/booties/pfd)
need to build a rod rack and get back out there.
overall: the Marshland is, and appears to be the exact same as Cumberland, but Camo.
now, lets plan another group trip
