Wiseguy Custom Rods Float Tube Contest Results

Another one in the books, sorry for the late report, between family and the Easter holiday, I didnt have much time on my hands.

Anyways, the turnout was great! It has been the best one so far, 21 people singed up to fish and 23 total tubed it and and had fun fishing with old friends and made some new friends. I had a blast kicking around and trying to fish with everyone for a little bit. Lots of short halibut were caught and no legals were landed, calicos, sandies were landed but the short halibuts ruled. The lucky winner was a fellow named Johnny with an overall combined weights of 5.1lbs, he also won big fish with his halibut good for a side cash pot of $85. Thanks to everyone that showed up and fished, special thanks to Travis from foolsbait for the free samples, I personally put them to the test and caught two calicos and a sandy on them. This was a Great Event Wiseguy and had an awesome time fishing with you and every one els.

Super cool to hear that a few of you guys put the sample baits to use and the worked out for you guys.

Lets do this again and try to do it down in SD. I can get intouch with the leaders of a few diffrent groups down there and make sure we get a good turn out.

I had a blast out there! I was also able to catch a couple fish on my fools bait hog seeker that was handed out until it got claimed by the fish God's.
