Jerdon, you will make a good team captain, If I would of have read it any sooner yes I would of have jumped on it right away.

looks like that weekend is no good for some of us, I myself will be out on a deep sea fishing trip out of San Diego that weekend

Hey Jeff if the teams do not have the equal amount of team members or enough bench players to fill in those spots, can this be rescheduled?

We might move the date of the event for those guys not able to make it out on the 11th, I will get back to you soon guys, if not it will stay the 11th.

My freshwater boys are getting antsy.
Lets throw down the rules!!

CastMate 2015 Saltwater VS Freshwater Fish Off -- contest and rules.
2 teams of 10 Float Tubers from each Team (Saltwater Killers and Team Freshwater) will go head to head in their own waters on July 18th from 6am till 2pm. This will be a contest of who can catch the most fish on the day. I will provide a code on the morning of the 18th by text to each team member Captain for each member to use that day. The code can be written on your hand and will need to be seen in each picture of your catch to count for your team the day of the event.
Team Freshwater will be fishing for Large Mouth Bass, and each bass will need to be 10” or more to count for the overall total.
Saltwater Killers will be fishing for Spotted Bay Bass and each bass will need to be 10” or more to count for the overall total.
Each team will only be allowed to have 10 float tubers on the water competing at one time, but please make sure the other guys know they can be alternates. Each team Captain will be responsible for letting me know which 10 will be competing the day of. Unlike the last few times we did this event, you can all fish different locations if you like so you might want to plan for this (this is not just a California thing). Each team will be responsible to text me the picture of their catch to my phone and I will keep track of the overall total. One the day is done I will be looking over all the pictures and post the winning team on Sunday the 19th.

Quick Rules Break Down
1. 10 float tubers for each team.
2. 6am till 2pm
3. 10” fish and bigger
4. Picture must have code in it to count
5. Text all picture to me the day of the contest before 2pm.

July is prime time for spottie hunting! While you freshwater ladies kick in circles chasing your one maybe two fish...us salty spotties hunters will be racking up the points.

We will see. Sure hope you can land enough to beat the saltwater guys. I am positive the saltwater guys will own you guys.

I think we need a biggest fish award as well for this event, So besides the banner each team will get for the winning team I will make a banner for biggest fish as well. Plus don't forget winning team will get 10 Castmate Rod racks one for each member of the team.
