My first yellowtail video report 6/14/15

First of all, I want to say Happy Fathers Day to all the DADS on this forum, I know its been a min since I have not made a video report and this is not float tube related but I just wanted to share my first yellowtail with you guys all tho I did not record it I pressed the wrong function on my gopro during the battle Also I took a few friends from work that have never picked up a fishing rod before and sure enough one of them also hooked up to a yellowtail. 2 trips are combined on this video. Enjoy and tight lines.

brother .. great video as always and congrats on that yellow ... Looks like a lot of boats the half days even are slaying on Yellows . I bet they are fun to catch , but i hear mix reviews on there taste for sure .. most people say no bueno

Thinking back it's been about 10yrs. since I hooked up on a YT (Was in Mex. so 0 in the US) Looks like fun times out at sea...Going real soon. Chris hows that Torium 20HG perform for you? I just picked up (TOR20HGA) this past weekend, my FD gift. Nice Video as always, thanks for sharing!!

Thanks bro, and yes the half day boats are on them as well. So far its one of the best fights I have ever had.

Thanks Bro, As for the Torium 20HG I like it. It is much better than the old style torium. I have 65lb spectra and 30lb short top shot and it casts out real smooth.

Thank you Kobra and yes Yellowtail are good eating, I like mine in ceviche and wash it down with a few ice cold beers.

Great video! I really miss fishing in the deep. I should probably sell my equipment now that I live far away from any saltwater. But I guess I'm holding out for the chance I come out your way and hook up.

Nice catch on the YT! IMHO they are good eating. And washing them down with cold beer? Absolutely!

What's up bro, well I guess that day just popped up like a bad pimple on prom night. This Sunday out of 22nd street landing I will be back on the boat. let me know what's good.
