Just want to say hi and introduce myself. Name is Jason. 16 year navy veteran born in CO raised in social now live in AZ. Just got my first float tube and look forward to going out later this month. Are there any others here from AZ?

So I bought a float tube from bass pro for my birthday last week and need some help.

1. It is a full tube not pontoons. So how does one enter it with or without flippers?
2. What is the best thing to use for rod rack?
3. I am in AZ sosummer months I can float with no waders but winter water is cold. What are of waders should I use?

1. If  you got the classic doughnut like in my Avatar pic. Step in the middle and pull it up like a pair a pants.
2. I never did use a rod rack on mine. One rod in my hand and one rod laying horizontal in front of me. Maybe someone else can chime in.
3. I picked up some breathable waders and really like them. One thousand times more comfortable than neoprene waders or wetsuits.

I hope this helps

Jerdon said it well if you have a U or V shaped tube you will walk into the water with your tube and no fins on till you can sit in your tube like a chair and then but on your fins. When getting back out do this in reverse.
As for rod racks, I had built my own with PVC and now use the one the CastMate makes. You can find there link just under the forum logo. But if you choose to make your own make sure you search the forum for ideas, there are a lot. Oh ya welcome to the forum.
