Having spent some time in a Bass Boat night fishing with a blacklight, I thought, why not night fishing from a tube.
I bought a "UV Sight" Handheld blacklight from Amazon for $12.  Attached it to the side of a sturdy ball cap with two zip ties.  Added a headlamp and then ......4lb bass.  It works great. My first waky worm catch too. Shocked Also put new florescent Stren line on my reel.

How good is your sight under the "UV sight" black lights? + a head lamp??

I would really like to see some night time pic's of your catches.
Would you share a few pic's of your setup and some pheesh porn please ? Thanx!

I'm telling you folks, the little UV light works great.  I could follow my line with no problems.  We all use the headlamps around camp sights and such.  Headlamps can run from weak to "blind ya".  The Stren florescent line at 10lb test is the key. I fished for about two hours and the UV light held up like a trooper. Zip tied it to the right side of the ball cap with two ties front and back. Stays in place.

I bass fish at night more frequently than during the day and never use any kind of extra light unless I need to retie or something. Is there a reason you need the UV? I find that my eyes quickly adjust to the dark and I can see "out" better without a light anyway.
