Lake Perris dam work completion time update?

Well it's almost 2017, Does anyone have any new updates as to when the work on the dam will be complete? When is the Bernasconi and the east side area going to be open to fishing from shore and float tube launching? It's the best area on the lake to float tube. I was hoping that by the spring of 2017 the Bernasconi Road entrance will be open. It's killing me not to be able to float tube there.

the last update they gave us from the construction page was back in July and they where saying that the project was expected be done in July 2017 , but that has changed on the page and no timetable is given now. Last I heard from one of the workers was October 2017 and I would not say 100% at this time that Perris would return to full pool. (maybe stay 10' under) once they do start bringing water in it will be slow and I would expect a huge algae bloom to hit the lake and oxygen levels to decrease while the lake's water chemistry is changing . This would be typical of a shallower water lake like perris . Also take into account we are still in Drought and we need a lot of snow pack as a lot of lakes are extremely low.
