So this years toy drive was amazing we raise a tone of toys more then we ever have in the past. Our members were great this year very generous this year I had fun shopping for those that could not make it to the event. But So Cal Fishing Buddies had raised toys for there cause. Only issue was the hospital the took the toys to normally could not take them as they felt that there might be a health risk to the kids. These were toys that had been stored over the last year as they had been collecting since last December. Because some of the toys were open or had some dust from sitting around they were unable to take them to the kids.
It was not a complete loss for the hospital and So Cal Fishing Buddies as most of the toys were allowed to be delivered. Kevin of So Cal contacted me to see if we could use them and I said of course we could. So on Nov. 19th we picked up 3 tots of toys, and today Dec 4th at lake Perris we picked up the rest. 8 tots and some large bags full of toys. Below is the picture of what we recieved today from Mark Bean of So Cal Fishing Buddies, as well as almost all the toys from the 19th and to today on my drive way after I got home.
I have one more person to thanks and that is GT he helped me bring home all the toys from both events. Thanks very much GT, So Cal Fishing Buddies, Kevin Kaiser, and Mark Bean, as well as all the FTFF members that contributed in what ever way there were able to. We really did help make some kids holidays just a little brighter this year.
