Lake Castaic Float Tube Bass Tournament?

There's an advertising poster that's been posted to the Facebook "Pontoon and Float tube fishing" group about an upcoming 3 day event at Lake Castaic called the "Float Tube Bass Tournament Series" but the Friends of Lake Castaic group that is supposedly running it doesn't have any word of it on their website, just talk about previous tournaments.

The poster says it starts in 3 weeks - seems like whoever is promoting this deal is asleep at the switch.

Anyone here know anything about this?

Yep, thats the one. The 80's early 90's it was THE lake to be on for big bass.

DADGUM, even closer than I thought! I actually got a replica World Record LMB, and I can tell you one thing, if I had a LMB that big on the end of my line, there would be more than that much weight difference in my underdrawers!!!

This has been going on for sometime but i have never done it myself. Is there anyone interested in doing this.
