So it was decided that this year there be 3 bass float tube derby's at Castaic lagoon here is the flyer with the dates: take note that if think you might do all three take advantage of paying for all three events, you'll save some money.

Yeah I would love to do one of these but I feel like I need more experience fishing of my tube if I get some good time out on the water i can try the last event

Honestly I would say this would be a great time to learn as theres usually like 30,40, 50 seasoned tubers out there and most are more than willing to offer advice if you ask. You could also pick up pointers by just watching them

How far is Castaic from Orange County? If less than an hour i'd be down to prefish the waters with anyone interested!

Not knowing your address I would say goggle it, allow for traffic then make your decision

I worked it last time as well I will do this time, that I know of no one specifically from this site showed up or maybe they did and just didnt say hello.
We had 38 tubers show up only 3 did not catch anything, last year we had one lady fish it this time around we had three, two of which pre paid for all three events.

Looks like a blast I just registered for the Sept. 28 Float tube Bass Derby...if anyone is going to register its $50 or $40 if you register before sept. 24 looking forward.
