Perris water temp?

Do any of you local guys know what the Lake Perris water temperature is now?

I was there Thursday and the water temp was 70 in lot 11 at around noon.

So have you or anyone else float tubed there recently WITHOUT waders? 70 in the afternoon in shallow water could still mean 66 degrees in the early morning. I might go this coming week.

I have been wearing my waders for 2 reasons. 
1. I am working in and out of the drowned trees and reeds
2. It is still cool in the AM

I have seen a few guys trunk it.
If I was launching near the dam on a sunny afternoon I would trunk it.
If I launch before 8AM I will wear waders till June most likely.

water temp today by the dam was 69*-70*

Water temp today 65 to 66 at the North side of the Island.
6 am to 10 am.

yesterday temp 66 in the morning 74 at 3 pm. i was in shorts! it was cool but not cold in the morning

Where were you at East End, or West End by the Dam?

agree jumped in the other day around 8am after work in the Ramp area and water was 68 and i had no issues in shorts , but it got warm quickly .. if it was going to be a 60 degree day then things would have been different ... Looks like our cool days are over and we need to make the most of this month before the June gloom really sinks in the next 5 months
